We are actively seeking individuals that would like to start a career in construction.

Experience is a plus but not required. We have a training center located in Iron Mountain and hold training classes every year for our apprentices and members looking to advance their knowledge of construction.

My name is Josh Fruik, and I've been a part of Laborers Local 1329 for 12 years. I was lacing up my work boots while my friends were going to college. I have worked in power plants, paper mills, oil and gas pipelines, college universities, and iron ore mines. I started as an organizer in 2020 to help people get started with the laborers and enjoy the benefits that we as union members receive.
